The only communication we ever received was a female staff member letting us know the only reason she was still there was because she was fishing. My husband & I could hear several people outside on the side of the cabin, trying to resolved the issue. My questions/concerns weren't addressed & the man was very short with me. I also questioned if they had any open cabins if the water couldn't be fixed. I expressed my concern for not receiving any followup communication. I called the office back, this time a man answered & said that they should have it fixed in 10 minutes. At 10:57pm (36 mins later) we heard a loud car pull off from our cabin. I called the office 10:21pm, a women answered & said someone would be over to assess the issue & we would receive a phone call or a door knock within 15 minutes. He then checked the sink, shower & toilet.nothing. To our surprise no water came out of the faucet, when my husband went to draw us a bath. We were excited to enjoy a relaxing whirlpool tub before retiring to bed. After dinner we relaxed on the porch, finishing our wine & "surprise cheesecake". Upon our return we enjoyed a bottle of wine while my husband grilled us dinner. We checked in early, got our stuff in the cabin #8 & headed to the beach for a few hours. After the way we were treated this stay, I feel compelled to warn others.

We had actually referred numerous couples here. Prior to our stay on 7/29/17 we had nothing but good things to say about serenity springs. We were there this time celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary. This was the 1st place that my husband & I went on a getaway together, 4 1/2 years ago. Let me start by saying that to write this review saddens me.
